Saint Nicholas (Άγιος Νικόλαος)

Saint Nicholas, Bishop of Myra, is one of the most beloved saints of the Church, known as a wonderworker, protector, and bringer of hope. Born in the 3rd century in Asia Minor, he became a bishop renowned for his humility, generosity, and miracles.

He is especially remembered for his secret charity to the poor and his protection of sailors and travelers. Countless miracles are attributed to him both during his life and after his repose, earning him the title Nicholas the Wonderworker.
